Can you lose your salvation?

So this is a hot topic amongst the saved and I have my stance on this issue. I believe that you cannot lose your salvation. To say so undermines the work that Jesus did on the cross. John 3:16 says that if you believe on him you have everlasting life, how can you lose something that is everlasting? John 8:36 says who the Son sets free is free indeed. He did not say who is set free can become bound again. Also a grave error is those that take the position that you can lose your salvation are those that believe you must work for your salvation, which is against grace, which is the only way to get saved.
I believe that the correct question that should be asked is, were you saved in the first place?
The problem is many mistaken church going and knowledge of Christ as being saved, but its more than that, its your firm belief and love for Christ. God sees the heart and is most concerned with the heart above all things. If you look at the 7 churches in revelations, the worst ones were the ones that pretended to be saved, that looked saved from the outside, but were dead and cold on the inside. Is this not the same thing that the pharisees were doing, concerned about outward appearances.
We cannot lose our salvation because if that were true it says that Jesus dying on the cross was not enough, which is a lie, it was enough and it covers all sin! However, we must be wary and ensure that we were saved indeed. Back to John 3:16, fundamental to a Christ believing person is actually believing on the Son and if you do not, then you are not truly saved! Do you believe that Jesus was the Son of God and that he died and rose again for you sins? Remember if you do not accept the Son, you cannot accept the father which sent the Son, so please make sure that you are truly saved and once you are, you cannot lose your salvation!

End Times

I know its been said since Jesus left that we are living in the last days, and it is true, the last days have been looming since the beginning of time, just like our death looms from our birth. But its the first time that we are in that there is opportunity for a global existence, a one world ruler and economy, etc. The last world ruler was Nimrod and in the end times there will be another, the anti-Christ. Now we still have a few more years to go, but the European union should have awaken a lot of people. In Matthew 13 Jesus says to watch, so please start watching and keeping yourself occupied until he returns. We should always do this because even if we do not witness the end times, our end can come through our untimely death, so its always good to be ready to stand before the throne of Jesus. I guess I am writing this to say please do not get comfortable with the ways of this world, keep reading your bible, keep praying to Jesus, keep growing in your relationship and walk with Jesus until his inevitable return.
Stay blessed and encouraged through Jesus Christ

Saved people can destroy their lives

Ok, so its been a few minutes since I have started this blogging experience and I have something to write about. Something that we all need to keep in mind as Christians is that we can destroy our lives while living as saved people. This is because we have not denied ourselves and taken up the cross of Christ. We need to defeat our flesh and let Jesus work in our lives. We all struggle with something, whether it be lying, stealing, cursing, pornography and so on, and we can only defeat it with Jesus's strength. The fact that we are taking part in these things is evidence that we are weak on our own. So please turn to Jesus, honestly seek his help and you can get out of the sin that is ruining your life.
I have a problem with verbally abusing people, because my parents used to do the same to me. But the more time I spend with Jesus, the more I overcome the need to partake in that disgusting act. Please do not act like you are perfect when you are suffering inside. It only fools yourself and hurts everyone. For anyone reading this that is not a Jesus believer, you have to realise that people fall short of the glory of Jesus and when a Christian does something wrong, it does not one bit reflect the nature of Jesus. Remember, we have free will, and unfortunately the human nature tends to use their free will to do wrong, so again this should not reflect on Jesus's part, however it does not pardon the Christian from the duty they have to serve as an example of Christ to the world.
Just be honest, that you have shortcomings and you will be surprised how many unsaved people will be more willing to listen to you than when they find out that everything you said you were was a lie. Notice the people Jesus was drawn to were those who openly said they were not good enough, he loves that.
I am writing this because I was in bondage to promoting a perfect image that I was not and its in realising that the reason you need Jesus is because you are not perfect, you will be freed and then Jesus can begin to have a real affect on your life.
Stay strong in Jesus and put your entire trust in him.
Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding; in all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths."

Hope in hopeless times

Hello everyone,
Welcome to my blog solely dedicated to the sharing of the Gospel that saves.
I feel we're living in a time where Jesus is being silenced by the world and its lies and its during this time when the truth and Jesus is most needed.
This is my first time blogging, so I may not be an expert, I am just going to be honest and hopefully get the point across.
Right now I do not have much to say so I will not continue, but please visit this site for the sharing of the Gospel, what Jesus commanded us to do. I do not have great talents but I can write and I am going to use that to share.
Looking forward to more posts and your feedback.
